⚡ How The Role is Funded
Introduction
Your role as an Inclusion Coach is made possible through funding provided by the Australian Government, with oversight from the Australian Sports Commission (ASC). This funding supports Sport4All in delivering programs that increase participation, inclusion, and access to sport across communities.
Funding Models
- Initial Funding: The Australian Sports Commission funding typically supports Inclusion Coach roles for up to a maximum of 18 months.
- Partner Contribution: Beyond this period, funding is usually taken up by a partner organisation, such as a State Sporting Organisation (SSO), a Local Government Authority (LGA), or a collaboration of multiple LGAs for the remainder of the agreement (normally another 18 months).
- Contract Terms: While the above represents the general model, your employment contract is the definitive confirmation of your individual arrangements, including length of employment and funding source.
Program Timeframe
- The current Sport4All funding agreement is scheduled to conclude in June 2027.
- While the program has strong ambitions for continuation, and it is our aim that Inclusion Coach roles are retained beyond initial funding periods, this will depend on future funding arrangements and agreements with partner organisations.
