🎨 Child Safety Compliance – Mandatory Requirement
Child Safety is a core responsibility for all Sport4All staff. All staff must comply with the following requirements to ensure a safe environment for children and to meet organisational and legal obligations.
*Mandatory Child Safety Modules (these must be completed within 3 weeks of commencement).
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- All staff must hold a current WWCC (or State/Territory equivalent).
- A clear copy of your card, showing both the number and expiry should be provided to your State Manager
Reimbursement:
- If the WWCC was obtained or renewed as part of your employment at GSA, the cost is reimbursable.
- Submit expenses coded to GSA – reference: Child Safety.
- Contact your manager for guidance on the reimbursement process.
- Future WWCC renewals during your contracted period at GSA are also reimbursable.
Human Rights Commission Child Safety Modules
- All staff must complete the 11 Child Safety Modules (1 Introduction + 10 Principles Courses).
- Completion certificates must be saved and sent to your State Manager
Access:
- Modules can be completed via: https://learning.humanrights.gov.au/
- Certificates should be downloaded and shared with your manager upon completion.
Compliance with this requirement is mandatory and tracked for organisational accountability
